This is my entry to the Techie She Lucky Blogger Weekly Giveaways Week 19. This week’s prize is $10 paypal credits from Ruby of Postcard Enthusiast.
I was so excited when I received this envelope in my mail a couple of months back, i love its color + the colorful stamps decorating it in. What I did not know is that I would love its content even more. Apart from the beautiful Thailand stamps enclosed, I also got this uber cute keychain, and of course, the main attraction of this particular mail, the breathtaking postcard from Thailand:
This is Thailand’s Greatest Chinese Civilization Museum + was built in 1996 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between The People’s Republic of China + Thailand. The museum was completed in 600 days + about 300 million Thai Baht was spent to build this fiberglass-made dragon-shaped museum.
What makes this postcard even more unique is that it has this stamp on the back, making it a prepaid postcard. It is the same picture of the postcard + according to a note in this card, this is actually considered a domestic stamp in Thailand + requires only 6 Baht for overseas postage. Cool, right? Now, I wish we had these here at home, it will make sending stamps a breeze if it was readily stamped!
Thank you sis Genebei Faith, a fellow member in Postcrossing Enthusiasts, these lovely gifts totally made my day 😀 By, the way, she is currently having a giveaway on her blog. You can win interesting postcards + stamps from Thailand, plus beautiful ref magnets, too. If you’re interested, kindly check the giveaway post.
