This race is the oldest sports car race that has been held annually since 1923. It takes place near Le Mans, France and it showcases some of the most highly coveted cars. It is important to note that this race is one leg of the Triple Crown of Motorsports with the other two being the Indianapolis 500 and the Monaco Grand Prix. It is the 24 Hours of Le Mans race that inspired the creation of many other famous races such as the Daytona 500 and the Nurburgring.

Daytona 500

This iconic race has been a favorite among car lovers for decades. The race is 500 miles long and is held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida in February around President’s Day. The race is highly coveted by race car drivers as it is one of four “restrictor plate” races in the NASCAR Cup series.
