Afternoon

Head towards the town to check out the cultural activities. Take the chocolate-making class to know more about the ancient Mayan culture. See how they used hands to ground cacao beans and make chocolate. Later, you can head towards Green Iguana Conservation Project and hold iguanas. This is a great way to learn about Belizean culture. You can drive the surrounding countryside and explore the charming Creole villages. Visit Burrell Boom which is famous for homemade fruit wine. Stop here to taste the blackberry flavor and look for the howler monkeys up in the trees.

Evening

You can start the evening time with a visit to the Image Factory, one of the country’s most innovative art gallery that showcases new exhibitions and works by Belizean artists.  It is indeed a joy to see the inspiring work by the local artists. Night

You can spend the last might in the southern district of Toledo. This is the right place to experience the Mayan culture. Sign up for a village homestay at Mopan Maya villages made of thatched huts. Get to experience the everyday life with a Mayan family. Make tortillas with them and help them out with their chores.
